Acycor Plus Gel (Aceclofenac; Methyl Salicylate; Capsaicin; Linseed Oil) – Uses, Dosage & Benefits Acycor Plus Gel is a topical combination medication used to relieve pain and inflammation in muscles and joints. This medicine is commonly used for: Muscle pain and strains Joint pain (arthritis-related pain) Back pain Sports injuries and sprains Localized inflammation and stiffness It works through multiple mechanisms: aceclofenac reduces inflammation, methyl salicylate provides a counter-irritant effect, capsaicin helps block pain signals, and linseed oil supports anti-inflammatory action. Composition Each gram contains: Aceclofenac BP – 1.5% w/w Methyl Salicylate BP – 10% w/w Capsaicin USP – 0.01% w/w Linseed Oil BP – 3% w/w Benzyl Alcohol BP – 1% w/w (preservative) Dosage and Administration Route of Administration: Topical Apply a small amount to the affected area and gently massage into the skin 2–3 times daily or as directed by a healthcare professional. Wash hands after application. Important Information This is an Over-the-Counter (OTC) medicine but should be used as directed. For external use only—avoid contact with eyes, broken skin, or mucous membranes. May cause mild skin irritation, burning sensation, or redness. Avoid applying with heat pads or bandages unless advised by a doctor. Discontinue use if severe irritation occurs.
