Advas 10 Tablets (Atorvastatin) – Uses, Dosage & Benefits Advas 10 Tablets contain atorvastatin, a lipid-lowering medication (statin) used to reduce cholesterol levels and prevent cardiovascular diseases. This medicine is commonly used for: High cholesterol (hyperlipidemia) Prevention of heart attack and stroke Reducing LDL and triglycerides Increasing HDL Cardiovascular risk reduction in high-risk patients It works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme involved in cholesterol production in the liver, thereby lowering blood cholesterol levels. Composition Each film-coated tablet contains: Atorvastatin (as Atorvastatin Calcium) – 10 mg Dosage and Administration Route of Administration: Oral Take as prescribed by a healthcare professional, usually once daily, with or without food. It is best taken at the same time each day.
