Advas 20 Tablets (Atorvastatin) – Uses, Dosage & Benefits Advas 20 Tablets contain atorvastatin, a statin medication used to lower cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases. This medicine is commonly used for: High cholesterol (hyperlipidemia) Prevention of heart attack and stroke Reducing LDL and triglycerides Increasing HDL Managing cardiovascular risk in high-risk patients It works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme responsible for cholesterol production in the liver, thereby lowering blood cholesterol levels.
