This medicine is commonly used for: Respiratory tract infections (e.g., bronchitis, pneumonia) Ear, nose, and throat infections Urinary tract infections Skin and soft tissue infections It works by combining cefpodoxime (a cephalosporin antibiotic that kills bacteria) with clavulanic acid (which inhibits bacterial resistance mechanisms), making the treatment more effective.
