Aldomet 250 mg Tablets (Methyldopa) – Uses, Dosage & Benefits Aldomet 250 mg Tablets contain methyldopa, used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). This medicine is commonly used for: Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) Management of high blood pressure during pregnancy Reduction of risk of complications related to hypertension (e.g., stroke, heart disease) It works by relaxing blood vessels and reducing the activity of certain chemicals in the brain that increase blood pressure, helping to lower and control blood pressure levels. Composition Each tablet contains: Methyldopa – 250 mg Dosage and Administration Route of Administration: Oral Take as prescribed by a healthcare professional. Dosage is individualized based on blood pressure levels and patient response. It may be taken with or without food.
