This medicine is commonly used for: Treatment of uncomplicated malaria (including Plasmodium falciparum infection) Relief of malaria symptoms such as fever, chills, headache, and body pain Clearance of malaria parasites from the bloodstream It works through a dual antimalarial mechanism where artemether rapidly reduces parasite levels in the blood, while lumefantrine eliminates remaining parasites to prevent recurrence. Composition Each uncoated tablet contains: Artemether – 80 mg Lumefantrine – 480 mg Excipients: q.s.
