Amoksiklav Powder for Oral Suspension (Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid) – Uses, Dosage & Benefits Amoksiklav Powder for Oral Suspension contains a combination of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid, a broad-spectrum antibiotic used for the treatment of bacterial infections, especially in children and patients who require liquid dosage forms. This medicine is commonly used for: Treatment of respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia, bronchitis, and sinusitis Management of ear, nose, and throat infections Treatment of urinary tract infections (UTIs) Management of skin and soft tissue infections Treatment of dental and oral infections Management of other susceptible bacterial infections It works by killing bacteria (amoxicillin) while clavulanic acid prevents bacterial resistance by inhibiting beta-lactamase enzymes, improving effectiveness against resistant organisms. Composition Each 5 mL reconstituted suspension contains: Amoxicillin (as Amoxicillin Trihydrate) – 400 mg Clavulanic Acid (as Potassium Clavulanate) – 57 mg Dosage and Administration Route of Administration: Oral The powder should be reconstituted with clean water before use.
