Derox 5 Tablet (Amlodipine Besilate) – Uses, Benefits & Safety Information Derox 5 Tablet contains amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker used in the management of high blood pressure and certain heart-related conditions. It helps improve blood flow by relaxing and widening blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood effectively. This medication is usually used for: * Hypertension (high blood pressure) * Prevention of chest pain (angina) * Improving blood circulation * Reducing risk of heart attack and stroke Amlodipine works by inhibiting calcium ions from entering the smooth muscle cells of the heart and blood vessels.
