Drupancid Capsule 20 mg (Pantoprazole) – Uses, Benefits & Storage Drupancid Capsule contains pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to reduce excess stomach acid and provide relief from acid-related gastrointestinal conditions. This medicine is commonly used for: - Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) - Acid reflux and heartburn - Gastric and duodenal ulcers - Erosive esophagitis - Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and other acid hypersecretory conditions Pantoprazole works by blocking the proton pumps in the stomach lining responsible for acid production, thereby reducing acid secretion and promoting healing of the stomach and esophagus. Composition Each capsule contains: Pantoprazole – 20 mg Route of Administration Oral Dosage Take this medication exactly as prescribed by a healthcare professional. Swallow the capsule whole with water, preferably before meals. Do not crush or chew the capsule.
