Edencip-TN Tablet (Ciprofloxacin + Tinidazole) – Uses, Dosage & Benefits Edencip-TN Tablet is a prescription antibiotic and antiprotozoal combination containing ciprofloxacin and tinidazole. It is commonly prescribed for the treatment of mixed bacterial and protozoal infections, particularly gastrointestinal, abdominal, and certain genitourinary infections where broad antimicrobial coverage is required. This medicine is commonly used for: • Diarrhea and dysentery caused by susceptible organisms • Gastrointestinal tract infections • Mixed bacterial and protozoal infections • Certain urinary and reproductive tract infections as directed by a physician Edencip-TN works through a dual-action formula: ciprofloxacin helps eliminate susceptible bacteria by inhibiting bacterial DNA replication, while tinidazole targets protozoa and anaerobic bacteria by damaging their DNA and preventing growth. Composition Each film-coated tablet contains: Ciprofloxacin – 500 mg Tinidazole – 600 mg Route of Administration: Oral Dosage Take exactly as prescribed by your healthcare professional. Swallow the tablet whole with water, preferably after food to reduce stomach discomfort. Complete the full course even if symptoms improve early.
