Eliomal QS 80/480 Tablets (Artemether + Lumefantrine) – Uses, Benefits & Safety Information Eliomal QS 80/480 Tablets is an antimalarial medicine formulated as a combination therapy used for the effective treatment of uncomplicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum. It is commonly recommended in areas where malaria resistance is a concern, as it provides a dual-action approach to eliminate malaria parasites from the bloodstream. This medicine is used for: • Treatment of acute uncomplicated malaria infections • Management of drug-resistant malaria strains • Rapid reduction of malaria symptoms such as fever, chills, and fatigue • Prevention of parasite multiplication in the body It works through a combination of Artemether, which rapidly reduces the number of malaria parasites in the blood, and Lumefantrine, which clears remaining parasites and helps prevent recurrence of infection. This synergistic action improves recovery outcomes and reduces the risk of treatment failure. Composition Each tablet contains Artemether and Lumefantrine in a fixed-dose combination designed for antimalarial effectiveness.
